I travelled from Canada seeking a genuine farm experience with a small group of ecologically minded people and I found so much more. Tidy, quaint grounds with with a view of an everchanging display of nature's finest creatures. Sunrise to sunset, the friendly staff work to ensure your comfort while sharing interesting Pantanal stories. The food prepared each day by Maria was some of the best cuisine I have ever tasted. The owners of the Fazenda went out of their way to welcome me in English and provided a wide range of daytime activities. Swinging in a hammock in the warm breeze or boating through alligator infested riverbanks, this place has it all. Birdwatching is now my new passion as this fazenda has introduced me to dozens of new species! Its not a resort built for tourists, its a working cattle ranch that welcomes a small handful of tourists to join their daily routines. I was one of the lucky tourists to choose Fazenda Santa Inęs! |
